Student Welfare

The co-curricular activities along with sports play vital role for development and maintenance of personality, physical fitness, health and stamina. Along with development of the academic career of the students, this University also puts in every effort to bring out the hidden qualities of the students by involving them in physical education, sports, cultural, adventurous activities etc. at college, polytechnic and university State, Zone & National levels.

Various inter-college - PG and inter-polytechnic Fine art, Literary, Cultural and Sports competitions are organized at the university level entitled as "SARJAN", "SAMVAD", "SANSKRUTI" and "SPANDAN" respectively.

DASABDI MAHOTSAV- Decennial Year Celebration

Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar had celebrated DASABDI MAHOTSAV during 2019- 20. KU had organized Mission DASHABDI as a part of Decennial Year Celebration of the University. Wherein all the students, officers, staff (all Class) of University Head Quarter, all the constituent/ affiliated PG centers/colleges/ polytechnics were actively participated. University has published a e- souvenir for the same as mentioned below.

Other Activities

Kamdhenu University celebrates National Agricultural Education Day, Milk Day, International Yoga day, Independence Day, World Environment Day, Republic Day, Women’s Day, Constitution Day, National Youth Day, Martyrs Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Rastriya Ekta Divas, Parakram Divas, Amrut Mahotsav etc.

Apart from this University, colleges and polytechnics also organizes National cleanliness Campaign, Plogging Run, Fit India Freedom Run, Selfie with Sapling campaign, Tree Plantation camp, Literacy programme, awareness programme on milk adulterations, Quiz, Poster making, Slogan writing and Rangoli competition, Essay Competition, Elocution Competition, Mono acting, etc.

University had organized the various webinars on Cyber Security (06th October 2020), Webinar on Mental Health and Drugs Awareness (23rd October 2020) and Webinar on Electoral roll Awareness (24th November 2020) etc.
