Students Placement and Counseling Cell
The Placement Cell of the College is working to strengthen the UG and PG students to possess the requisite knowledge, skill, and attitude for the advancement of career & personality development with an aim to have 100% placement of students. The placement team invites recruiters to conduct on-off campus recruitment. The Placement Cell motivates and helps the student community for their campus placements. The placement cell liaisons the interests of the students and the recruiting agencies. The Cell is busy to provide the references to the students for advancement of subject knowledge and general knowledge with special efforts in preparation for competitive examinations. Lectures by experts of different faculties/subjects are arranged for the students to update their knowledge. Guest lectures, mock interviews, personality development classes, etc. are also organized right from the beginning of their program till they are ready for the hiring process. The placement cell of our institute is bringing out recruiters guide for every to flaunt our pedagogical activities and provide foremost information to prospective recruiters.
Objectives of Placements
- To provide career guidance and developing skills for Higher education, placements or entrepreneurship
- To build the bridge between industry and academia
- To assist students in obtaining placement in Government and Non-Government sectors
- To conduct seminars, guest lectures, mock interviews for career guidance and
- personality development
Counseling
The academic performance of the students in B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree programme at this College is required to be properly monitored and students need to be advised from time to time. A student advisory system is hereby introduced to meet this purpose and each faculty member of the college is appointed as an advisor and is allotted undergraduate students for proper counselling.
The counselling activity includes
- Regarding improvement of his/her academic performance
- Encourage him/her for participation in co-curricular activities for overall personality development
- Monitor the students’ regularity in classes and guide them to maintain the discipline in the college and hostel premises
- Offers information about jobs, interviews, career scopes, advantages of selecting a specific field, the process of achieving it
- Advises on study techniques
- Makes the students mentally prepared for future planning and outcomes
- Efforts to improve the skills to reach a determined goal
