Glimpses of Placement Cell:
The Students’ Counselling & Placement Cell (SC&PC) plays a pivotal role in building an interface between academia and recruiters by organizing various pre-placement talks, campus placements and training programs. Students’ Counselling & Placement Cell has been working to strengthen students to develop necessary skills and professional attitude which could be helpful for advancement of students’ career and development of their personality with an aim to have cent percent placement of students.
Earnest efforts are made to attract the best of the recruiters to pick up our students both via on-campus and off-campus recruitment process. The Placement Cell has the requisite state-of-the-art infrastructure to conduct various programs such as campus drives and training sessions. Acting as the perfect link between the students and the recruiting agencies, the cell performs the necessary task of providing suitable candidates to the recruiter based on their skills and knowledge. Placement cell also provides information to students for the preparation of the competitive examination both in private as well as Government sectors.
The Placement Cell tries to arrange interaction of the students with professionals from animal husbandry field regularly so as to provide them with first-hand knowledge of the ever changing animal husbandry sector.
About Students’ Counselling:
The Students’ counselling centre is functioning in the Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry with the purpose of to provide counselling to student so that they can freely and confidently express their academic, emotional and personal pressures and concerns to a professional who can help them effectively. The major objective of the counselling centre is to facilitate academic, emotional, social and cognitive development of the students.
To achieve the above objectives, and in order to resolve day to day academic problems of the students, faculty members of Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry are appointed as counsellor to the students and they have to counsel the respective students to solve the problems come across during their course of study.
Message from Secretary's Desk
Students’ Counselling & Placement Cell has been working to strengthen students to develop necessary skills, professional attitude and practical knowledge regarding animal management and treatment since 2016. The students of Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry consistently maintain an exemplary recruitment record. Our diploma students have been recruited by State Animal Husbandry Department, State Agricultural Universities, leading cooperative dairies, NGOs, Zoos and Private Veterinary Hospitals.
Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry has a full-fledged Placement Cell with all modern facilities to conduct the campus placement activities. Our campus placement activities for every academic session begin from the last week of May. Since our students are on great demand, we will appreciate if recruiting agencies would consider to visit our campus at an early date.
We highly value our partnership with recruiters and alumni of Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry and remain committed to make recruiting experience productive and positive. I invite the recruiting organizations and diploma students to find the best match between their needs and capabilities.

Placement Procedure:

Our placement starts from last week of May every year and continues till the next batch of students going to be passed out. |

Placement secretary will invite the various animal husbandry related organizations. |
| 3 |
On receiving the eligibility criteria from a company/organization, a list of interested students satisfying the eligibility criteria of the organization concerned is prepared and the requisite data forwarded to the company concerned. |

A suitable date for the company’s visit is worked out. |
| 5 |
After confirmation the placement cell arranges a Pre-Placement Talk. |
| 6 |
The company conducts its selection and shortlists students for the interview. |
| 7 |
The concerned company comes for campus interview and the result is announced usually on the same day or they may convey results to the directly to students selected via E-mail. |
