Contribution of India for the milk and milk industry at global level is highly substantiaal and appreciable too. In the Saurashtra region, dairy industry is still in developing stage compared to other parts of Gujarat. In last few year Gujarat Co-oprative Milk Marketing Federation ahs extended their partner list in Saurashtra region and now it also inculdes Amreli, Junaghadh, Bhavanagar, Kutch, Porbandar, Jamnagar and Botad district coopratives as their partners. Hence there is need of dairy technologsts for efficient growth of dairy Industry in this region.
