The institute offers a full time residential education programme of “Diploma in Animal Husbandry” in which the basic qualification for the admission is 10th standard... The duration of the course is three years which includes a six month intensive farm practice training at different premier institutes in Gujarat in the 6th semester. During the course work of five semesters the students are enriched with the basic knowledge of 18 different subjects of Animal Husbandry in theory and practical listed as under:
Six months farm practice training includes working on different cattle, buffalo and goat farms and veterinary dispensaries with 7 days educational tour within the state. The training provides good practical hands and also boosts confidence level of the students in the areas of animal nutrition, management of animals and fodder farm, vaccination, artificial insemination and first aid techniques in veterinary practice.
