College is situated in Anand Agricultural University, Anand Main Campus which is almost 6 kms away from the Railway Station in the Southern part of Anand city.
College has 4 buildings, which houses the six departments. It has adequate facilities for conducting lectures and practical’s in various subjects of Dairy Science. It has also one commercial training establishment called Vidya Dairy, which has a handling capacity of one-lakh liters of milk per day. The college also has an under graduate hostel called Munshi Hostel which can house 120 boys and one girls hostel for housing 30 girls students admitted at the college. College shares accommodation of PG students with agricultural college of the university, which is a common facility, provided at the campus. Library and sport facilities are also provided as common facility in the campus.
About Vidya Dairy
College has Vidya Dairy which is a commercial dairy plant handling 1 lakh liter of milk per day and manufacturing various products under the AMUL brand. The dairy is operated by the students of SMC College of Dairy Science, Anand.
