Faculty of Dairy Science, Anand, is a pioneer national center for Dairy Technology education established in 1960.The faculty represented by SMC College of Dairy Science has been recognized as "Center of Excellence" which produce qualified dairy professionals. These professionals, by their pursuit for excellence, depth of knowledge and honesty of purpose have brought laurels for themselves and repute to their alma mater. The college started Indian Dairy Diploma in 1960 and looking to the need for Dairy Professionals, it also started B. Sc (Dairy Technology) degree
