Faculty of Dairy Technology Department
The Department of Dairy Technology of the college is engaged in teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students for subjects associated with dairy technology. Research Area
Apart from teaching of dairy microbiology courses in UG and PG programmes, diverse research activities are also being carried out. Departmental laboratory is equipped with routine as well as advanced instruments. Requirements of instruments/equipments as mentioned in “Minimum Standards For Higher Agricultural Education” as well as per the “Fifth Deans Committee Report Recommendation” has been fulfilled by the college.Apart from that, the department is also having certain sophisticated instruments viz. nano pore sequencer, electrospraying machine, particle size analyser, nano sight, bioreactor, microencapsulator, real time PCR, freeze dryer, anaerobic glove box etc.The areas of research activities in the departments are as follows:
